# Types of API Portal
Everyone can become a provider and generate your API portals. For more information, please refer to “Register as an API Provider and Generate API Portals”.
There are 2 types of API Portals on FabriXAPI - Public and Password-Protected. Update the Visibility of your API Portal to control where your API Portal can appear and who can view it.

# Public
Public API Portals are openly accessible to anyone without any restrictions
# Password-protected
Password-protected API Portals can be accessed by individuals who possess both the API Portal's URL and the corresponding password. Those who have these credentials can view the API Portal and its contents.
To access any page of a password-protected API Portal, a password is required in order to view the API Portal and its contents.
