Payouts arrangement is only applicable to Stripe Connect.
In this article, we cover FabriXAPI's process of payouts to API providers and other related financial information. Generally, when a user subscribes to a pricing plan of your API on FabriXAPI, as the API provider, you will receive the final payment from the developer after the payout process is completed.

# Payment Scenario on FabriXAPI
There are mainly three scenarios in which payment transactions would be triggered via FabriXAPI
- A Paid API Subscription Plan is being subscribed
- A Paid API Subscription Plan is renewed
- An API overage charge is incurred from a Paid API Subscription Plan
# Payouts on FabriXAPI
Payouts are how money from your customers gets deposited into your bank account. To receive payouts from FabriXAPI, one must complete the Monetization Setup beforehand. Currently, FabriXAPI supports Stripe as its billing engine to handle the payment for API monetization.
# Stripe
FabriXAPI uses Stripe to handle all payment transactions. In Stripe, payouts arrive in your bank account in around 7 business days on a rolling basis. The payout speed varies per country or region. For Hong Kong, normally the payout speed from Stripe is about 7 business days. For the first payout, the waiting period may take longer. But in most cases, your first payout is typically available 7-14 business days after receiving your first successful payment.
FabriXAPI processes payments individually by API subscription. For example, if your API receives three subscribers, you will receive three separate payments. The supported currency on FabriXAPI is USD and the minimum payout amount is one US dollar.
Very occasionally, there would be chances when a payout from Stripe fails, it’s possible that the payment state initially shows as paid but then changes to failed. If you think there is a processing error, please reach out to support@fabrixapi.com and we will investigate the issue and come to a fair resolution.
