# Can I Delete My API?
API deletion is currently not supported on FabriXAPI. This measure is in place to prevent any potential issues that may arise if there are active subscriptions to the API being deleted. If you have any APIs that are no longer in use, we encourage you to handle them using the following methods. Alternatively, you can also choose to create a new API if that better suits your needs.
# Method 1: Make Your API unlisted on API Portal
You have the option to make your API unlisted, which means it will not be publicly displayed on your API Portal. Only users who have the specific API URL will be able to access it. For detailed instructions, please refer to the API Visibility Overview for step-by-step guidance.
# Method 2: Archive API
You can archive the unused APIs to better organize them. The "Archived" label helps users identify that a specific API is no longer up-to-date. However, it is important to note that users can still see and subscribe to the archived API on the API Portal, and current subscriptions to the API would not be affected as well. For detailed instructions, please refer to the How to Archive My APIs? for step-by-step guidance.
# Method 3: Terminate Active Subscriptions
If you wish to remove all active subscriptions for a specific API, you have the option to terminate the subscription. Upon termination, the subscriber will immediately lose access to the API. This allows for a prompt and efficient removal of access for the subscriber. For detailed instructions, please refer to the Terminate Subscription for step-by-step guidance.
